According to Black America Web, Blige has been cast to star in a made for television movie focusing on the wives of Civil Rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.

Titled “Parallel Lives,” the movie will, for the first time, showcase the relationship and bond Coretta Scott King and Dr. Betty Shabazz shared.
