Shaq Anounces Retirement From Basketball After 19 Seasons

Shaquille O’ Neal announced via Twitter that he will be retiring from basketball after 19 seasons in the NBA. The 7 ft. 1, Celtics center became the oldest active player in the NBA on March 5, 2010 after Lindsey Hunter retired! Shaq, 39 was a first overall draft pick in the 92′ draft; he was chosen by the Orlando Magic. O’ Neal went on to become one of the top centers in the NBA. He won three consecutive championships on the Lakers with ex-friend Kobe Bryant!
